6    Plaidsong Nicky Small and Syd House are both from Perth, Scotland and have collaborated musically for several years. They combine historical research interests with traditional, original singing/songwriting. 5     Pauline Valance 
Pauline is a singer/songwriter and clarsach player from Ayrshire. ​10 John Ward Duo Based in East Anglia, John Ward, is a renowned songwriter on the folk, roots and acoustic music scene and has 9 critically-acclaimed CDs and 2 published books to his name.  John tours extensively across the UK and beyond, mostly with his Trio, and sometimes as a duo with wife, Lynne.  He is a fine musician, specialising in acoustic guitar, bass, harmonica and bodhran and is also an experienced 6-string guitar, bass and bodhran teacher.   Club Performer​ Deirdre Watson. ​​21 Shared Grazin Shared Grazin are a Dunfermline based musical project with inspirations ranging from Tony Rice, Norman Blake and Neil Young to the Corries, Tom Paxton, the Country Gentlemen and Tom Waits. Featuring a diverse selection of material from these great artists alongside their original songs, they have been developing their unique sound and bringing it to local audiences across the East Coast of Scotland.
